"Autism is not a condition to fix, but a uniqueness to embrace." The members of Yi YUVA REC organized an autism awareness event at Edward Elliot's Beach on the 5th of May 2024. The event included various games such as Show Your Speech, Ketu sollu, Hopscotch, Puzzles, Stackup, Mindful, and Watch Your Step. Each game was designed to showcase a specific aspect of autism to the public. The public, especially children, were excited to participate in the games and had a great time. Towards the end of the event, a mime was performed that depicted the challenges faced by individuals with autism. The performance was well-received by the audience and helped raise awareness about autism. The event ended on a positive note, with many happy faces and a sense of achievement. It was truly a special day filled with joy and awareness.
